What We Did...
The methodology used in this study was to survey 63 people asking nine questions related to cell-phone usage, disposal, and environmental awareness. The purpose of the survey was to find out information such as how many cell phones people have had in their lifetime, how they have disposed of old phones, and whether or not they are aware of the harmful effects of the manufacturing of cell phones and their improper disposal.
The results of the survey, which was targeted towards Bryant University students, showed the average number of cell phones that students have used, generally how they had disposed of them, and what kind of awareness they had in regards to the impact of the manufacturing and improper disposal of their cell phones on the environment.
